MY CANDID ADVICE FOR YOU THIS YEAR

Don’t allow yourself to live in the past and wallow in the defeats that you experienced there.

There were probably some mistakes you made last year that you are still deeply regretting.

There were probably some things you did that you wish you had not done.

Probably there were strategic relationships you lost which you feel you shouldn’t have lost.

Can I be brutally honest with you?

What has happened has happened and there is absolutely nothing you can do to draw back the hands of time. But that is not the end of the world.

You may not know this, but it is a complete waste of time and energy to relive things you no longer have the power to change.

Learn from past errors, and don’t repeat them.

Spending too much time grieving over a past mistake and regretting an error is nothing but foolishness in disguise.

The truth is that the more you grieve, the more you slide into depression. The more you keep regretting what you have done or what has happened, the more you incapacitate yourself.

What you should be thinking about right now is the way forward.

Any man or woman who is obsessed with the past can be likened unto a car driver whose focus is on the rear view mirror while driving. It’s just a matter of time before he hurts others and himself or herself.

You messed up, no one is denying that. But you can clean up.

You lost that great opportunity and it hurts, but another opportunity is coming your way if you remain focused.

You messed up that important relationship, and you feel bad about it. Cheer up! God is preparing an alternative.

If you are too focused on the past; most especially your past mistakes; you will soon pass away.

Face front! Let the mistakes of 2024 go with 2024. This is 2025. You can do better. So, don’t bring any of that extra baggage from 2024 with you into it.

2025 has enough challenges of its own. So, don’t add that of the bygone year to it. You don’t need it if you are serious about making any meaningful progess this year.

    Welcome to 2025.
