When children was going to school yesterday and I told them to go and buy Akamu and moimoi 700naira in total for breakfast, when the finish eating that at home I gave them 500naira each to buy food in school during break time.
This is my method anytime I did not make arrangements for cooking.

My second son said mummy you think 500naira is money, something that can’t buy rice and egg. Something that can’t buy bread and beans.

I told him they should buy rice 400 and use 100naira for biscuit since this is exam week and they will be closing earlier than usual, I will have cook before they come back.

When they left, I began to think about this economy. Something is no right again🥺

So primary pupils can’t feed with 500naira again during school period.

In my school days, I do bought rice 5 naira, spaghetti 5naira and Ponmo 5naira = #15
